Digital cameras were sold under the Canon brand in South Korea and the LG brand in other markets, and was a division manufacturing photographic equipment such as cameras and photographic accessories.
The name was changed to GoldStar-Canon in 1987 with the merger, with many of the same products and model numbers being produced but with new branding, after the business was acquired by Canon, again with identical or similar model numbers, and will continue to change its name to Canon Korea.

When I open a photo which was originally upside down, in Canon DPP it is auto rotated to the right way up. But I have not been able to convert and save it this right way up. How do you save this auto correction? Also how am I to see when auto rotated has taken place and the photo is not in fact the right way up, and needs rotating?

In order to fix the issue, I suggest you update the Canon Utilities Digital Photo Professional software to the latest version. To do this, navigate to the official web page, identify your camera model, select your operating system if it is not automatically detected and download and install the updating files from Drivers & Software section. If it still doesn't work, go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance > Display > Adjust resolution and modify your screen resolution. If the problem persists, you will need to contact Canon.
